I had not realized that the Spurs had their big three all inked to long term deals, each throught at least 2010! Wow! That's pretty incredible in this day and age. That goes to show how well the organization is run. That's also one of the many common traits between these two teams. The Pistons are positioned to keep their team in tact for several years as well (with their two oldest contributing players turning 31 later this year).
Regardless of how this turns out Thursday, I have to believe that both teams will be favored to be right back here next year. I could see this happening for the next few years easily!
