Anyhow, i can't believe Spurfan thinks the Spurs have a shot against a team that is such a NIGHTMARE matchup for them, Jim and Company probably have night terrors about them on the regular. How do you figure old ass Jim, fat ass Diaw, the guy with no ACLs, and some Brazilian albino monkey are going to stop the most imposing and intimidating frontline since my very own Baby Drew and Pau Gasol? You see the way Randolph and Gasol handled Griffin (an excellent post player), Evans, and DeAndre Jordan? Total domination.

I'm certainly not calling it in the bag, but I like our chances.
The ball movement we're getting is tough to defend, Tiago has come a long way from last year, Duncan and Ginobili are healthy, Parker has improved significantly, and our current Duncan/Diaw starting lineup presents its own matchup problems for Memphis.
Assuming Memphis manages to put away the Clippers and we can take care of business with Utah, I'm looking forward to the series.
Edit: and most importantly, we managed to pawn off Jefferson to Golden State.

SA actually has a reverse nightmare matchup this year for either ZBo or Fat Gasol in Diaw. He's not a Bonner spot up guy. He can draw either of them out of the paint and blow by them off the dribble. He can then finish or create. People forget that he was drafted as a 6'8" PG/SG. He's also a better post defender than Blair, which admittedly isn't all that.
If The Grizz can survive their series, and that's a VERY open question, Spurs in 5.
clippers have a chance of winning the series solely because of the mentality chris paul brings to the team. they should hire byron scott. they'd be scary then.
diaw also played C in suns small-ball system imho
