JaVale McGee is clearly the dominant center in the Western Conference.

TANK a CLOSEOUT GAME AT HOME? FOR WHAT? Longer series now and could go 7 and someone can get hurt, man thats not smart if they do it on purpose which they did not.

Mike Brown laughed off talk the Lakers would tank 2 games to get MWP back. They didn't tank; just looked like they did.

It's all about the career points. If you're going to tank a game you might as well bank 40 of 'em.

in the Lakers 2 losses Kobe has played 43 and 41 minutes. in their 3 wins he played less than 40 minutes. I highly doubt you play your star player ridiculous minutes if you are trying to lose on purpose. Kobe did nail 4 three pointers in the 4th quarter. I don't think he was tanking, not at all.

Getting Artest back is not worth what they are going through. Now they have to travel back to Denver again, which is one of the more exhausting road games you can play due to the elevation and the Nuggets fast-paced offense. The last thing the Lakers would want is to be tired right before traveling (yet again) to OKC. And this is assuming they win against the Nuggets. Denver has confidence and the Lakers are by no means road warriors. A home game 6 facing elimination can easily end up a Denver win.

I don't think the Lakers want to have a 7 game opening series right before going up against the Thunder, their biggest matchup nightmare. They aren't tanking. They just lost.
