To me, it definitely is. The first 4 games were homecourt blowouts and the last 2 have been intense nailbiters as each team gets closer to the prize. I get the feeling that Spurs fans don't like this kind of intensity. Am I wrong?

I like close games better than blowouts. With blowouts I don't even watch the whole game because it gets to boring. Close games are more exciting and fun to watch and a lot of people here said that the series would go 6 or 7 games. I said 6.

no, I like the Spurs to blow teams out by 35 plus. I don't need the "excitement" of a close game. These last 2 games have taken about 4 years off my life.

I thought the first two or three games would be close and then things would kind of pan out from there. So I didn't really like (or expect) the blowouts of the first four contests.

    I love Game 7.

I said Spurs in 6. I really thought they would take care of business last night. Oh wells.

Close games are fine if you're not rooting for either team. You truly have to be sadistic to want close games instead of blowouts if you're a Spur/Piston fan.

they like to play nicey nice and wish everyone would just love each other. We'll find out if the spurs feel the same.

Obvious the Detroit Players think they are better men.

Sometimes basketball just boils down to who can be meaner.

I'm a Spurs fan, but I prefer close games when both teams play well. I like watching better basketball.

    No.

After the Phoenix series, I felt pity for the team that had to play SA in the Finals. Then after the Pistons and the Heat finished beating up on each other, I thought there was no way Detroit had enough gas left in the tank to win more than twice.

And even before that, I thought their win last year was more LA imploding than Detroit outplaying the Lakers.

I was wrong. These SOB's are good and deserve all the respect that goes with being the defending champions. The Spurs will have to play a uva good game tomorrow night if they want the trophy.

I think humiliating the other team is better.

I thought from the beginning this would go to 7, so that doesn't surprise me. The blowout games surprised me. The last two heart-stoppers were more of what I expected in the series. Thursday is going to be one of a game.

As a newcomer I'm getting used to the idea of having really LONG series.

In the rest of the world, you lose, you go away, that's it.

Playing seven games with the same team is a completely different story. It's more exiting in every way, for good and bad.

It is totally what I expected....even though I wanted the Spurs to win in 6..

But yeah I predicted the Spurs in 7 on the bracket....
