Stephen Strasburg was bothered by stray Hot Stuff in his groin during Tuesday's loss to the Padres.
Hot Stuff is an analgesic ointment like Icy-Hot that is often used as a muscle-loosener. But it can cause quite a bit of pain when applied to ... more sensitive skin. "I can’t really tell you what the problem was, but some Hot Stuff got misplaced," manager Davey Johnson said. "It was on his shoulder and evidently – I don’t know how it got to where it got, but it was uncomfortable, to say the least." Strasburg allowed four runs in four innings.

I'm looking at a beatdown to the tune of 122-86 or 131-92.

Honestly, either a blowout or a Laker win if the officiating evens out.

A crushing defeat either makes a team snap back to reality or throws them a shovel while they are 6 feet under.

At some point Westbrook is going to come back down to earth. That's when the Lakers will go in.

So the only difference between a Thunder blowout and a Laker win is even officiating?

Nah, I meant if it's not a blowout and it's compe ive then even officiating will be a large factor. With Bynum/Gasol & Hill coming off the bench, there is a huge front court advantage. That can be quickly neutralized with somebody ac ulating fouls.

Got it. Haven't seen a fair game called in OKC this year tbh, so not likely.

The Lakers are gonna play great tonight. Kobe will shoot around 49%. Bynum and Gasol will both have double -doubles. Blake will make 4 3-pointers and Sessions will score 10 points. They are gonna come out blazing...

but they will still lose by 7.

If LA gets blown out again, especially if it occurs with little contribution from Sessions while Westbrook goes off, they are in huge trouble. OKC's personnel and gameplan are perfectly suited for beating LA unless LA's starting 5 does some extreme heavy lifting.

Mike Brwn will make the necessary adjustments and Lakers will compete this time around... and if they don't, there will be some ejections...
