It's unfortunate that the reporter got killed, I'm sorry for that.At least 37 people were killed in Baghdad alone. Many of them died when a U.S. helicopter fired on a disabled U.S. Bradley fighting vehicle as Iraqis swarmed around it, cheering, throwing stones and waving the black and yellow sunburst banner of Iraq's most-feared terror organization.
But I think it's hilarious that some Apache pilot saw all those Iraqis there waving the terrorist flag and realized "I can wipe out a bunch of those little bas s with one shot."

So, let me get this straight. The Bradley was disabled by a car bomb, no one was killed, and the wounded were no where near the truck, and we are now in the business of killing folks to defend an empty, burning fighting vehicle? Lost a few hearts and minds today, boys and girls...

Wait a minute, If the wreckage was already burning how could Iraqis loot the vehicle? Seems to me that some hot-shot pilot didn't like to see Iraqis dancing around a disabled U.S. humvee and decided to fire into a crowd.Most of the young Iraqi men and boys mingling around the burning wreckage of a US armoured car in Baghdad were unfazed by the clattering of an American helicopter gunship overhead. Moments later they were under fire.
Exstatic and NBADan, you've got it all wrong. This is a great victory for the US. Firing into crowds of Iraqis will make them love us. Democracy and flowers are just around the corner. The US will be withdrawn by the end of the month for sure.

I feel bad, and I sincerely grieve, for the children who were drug out their by their parents or who were allowed to roam the mean streets unsupervised or who have been deluded into joining a terrorist organizations.
But, the rest of them? Terrorists and reporters gather and celebrate (or report on) U.S. failures at their own risk.

So, they blew up our Bradley with a car bomb, shot and threw grenades at or men while they were trying to flee the burning vehicle...and you're feeling sorry for the ing terrorists that did it?

Do we know, FOR SURE, that the folks around the vehicle by the time that Air Cav got there were the same ones who attacked it? And, yeah, like has been said, don't hang around burning or disabled U.S. military vehicles...we render them unusable at the earliest opportunity.
