Dana White, head of the leading mixed-martial-arts enterprise, is (no surprise here) combative in responding to suggestions that slippage in TV ratings is a possible indicator of a sport in trouble.


I think the UFC is slowing down some because of too many cards.. They got away with it for a while but now it's coming back to bite them. PPV prices are higher than ever and casual fans want big fights on Fox or they are not watching. They may need to scale back the number of cards at some point and stack them more..
