So where do they go from here? Dump Gasol for pennies on the dollar? Get a real coach? Is Sessions worth keeping as anything more than a placeholder for 2013-14 capspace? Is Bynum's ty at ude too toxic to build around and do they go all out for Howard instead? Time to clear capspace for 2013-14 or a completely clean house for 2014-15?

This team is going to be blown up.

Mike Brown will be gone, Gasol will be gone and I wouldn't be surprised if they shipped Bynum too.

In all honesty, Kobe shoudl either retire or be traded or something.

Keep these four guys: Kobe, Bynum, Artest, Hill. Everyone is tradeable.

And YOU Sessions if you ask for anything more than the mini-MLE.

Hill is garbage and you guys would be suckers to keep him. It'll be interesting to see if they can get good value for Gasol.

tbh, they should blow it up also because of lux tax going forward... you have to wonder if Mitch won't want to renegotiate the last year deal on Kobe in exchange for an extension...

They're not going to amnesty Kobe because they won't be able to sign him for one year. I don't know how they are going to be able to re-negotiate a new contract with him under such cir stances.

Upgrade the PG spot and have Blake + Sessions coming into our 2nd unit.

Get a legit 2 to come off the bench for Kobe.

Either get somebody to work with Bynum and improve his game/at ude or bounce him for howard.

New coach, potato head is just a joke.

Gasol has to go, that's probably the #2 priority. He's declining fast, stock value will be zero soon.

Kobe would be best player to ship out because his large contract, Bynum would be second, he has so much potential you can get a lot in return . Gasol is already shipped no doubt about it. I can see mike brown staying .

Thankfully, Matt Barnes' contract is coming off the books. Good luck finding your next team.

Should the lakers go for one more run or "tank" next season and let everyone come off the books 2014? They'll have a lot of expiring contracts they can dangle at teams.

We're paying Kobe $60 million over two years, they should maximize that.

No, Kobe is not going to be traded. He is worth to the Lakers more than his contract.

Gasol will end up on a milk carton when Kobe gets done with him after this.

That question is best asked at trade deadline, tbh. If Lakers don't get another scorer (primarily a PG) and do something about Bynum, it's rebuilding time.

They can always just pay him what its owe to him and they'll be square.

Its best to deal with it now because he still has some value, teams still want him. In 2 more years he'll be useless.
