We have heard about the Spurs window closing or being closed for years. How can the Lakers window be anything but closed at this point? Can anyone imagine a Lakers team winning an NBA le going forward with a 35 year old Kobe being the number 1 option? A disinterested Bynum who carries himself like he is waiting for his next stop or until Kobe leaves? Pau who has had his nuts taken from him by Kobe? Its a night to congratulate OKC and be excited as a Spurs fan coming into what looks like a great series. That being said I think the Laker dominance led by Kobe or with Kobe as a part of it is dead.
What will cripple lakers is Kobe 30 million salary annually.
