Are you making this up? If so, not cool at all. If not, what bar and why did you kick him out at 1:20?
For players to be out the night before a game seven drinking till 1:20am? I just had to kick Rasheed Wallace out of the bar I work at. I found that very interesting. After all the talk that has been done about how much more focused and business like the Pistons are this guy is out tanking it up till nearly 130am.
They also had a small celebration this afternoon as a prequal to them winning the championship. I was stunned that even took place.
Are you making this up? If so, not cool at all. If not, what bar and why did you kick him out at 1:20?
I am most certainly not making this up. I work at Steinheimers bar in the Westin La Cantera where all the Pistons players are staying.
Make sure you let me know if you decide to use this in any radio or anything cause I will need to cover my ass LOL.

I doubt this is true, but if it is maybe it's for good luck. The night before game 7 against the Heat the guys were out in Miami living it up.

I don't know that you should be questioning the authenticity of this guy's report Kori. I find his story totally believable.
BTW, has anyone heard whether I won the bid on that fabulous ocean front property in Arizona?
Son, Rasheed Wallace was wearing a green and black t-shirt and drinking jack, watermelon pucker and gingerale mixed together. He was there with a couple trainers and staffers from the Pistons as well as some Spurs staff.
If its true why didnt you let them stay so they can get drunk of their nuts and have garuansheed us another ring![]()

You should not have kicked him out but allowed the bar to remain open and let him get good and plasted so he would have a real big hangover.
Sorry Peoples fingers are quicker than mine
But, why did you kick them out at 1:20am??? sounds a little fishy to me. Don't bars stay open a little later than that in San An?

I would have kept it open but the under age white girls they dragged in with them were really begining to annoy me.

Yo Sheed, next round on me homey.
Our bar is a hotel bar. It is only open till 2 on Friday and Saturday.
In fact, last night the Pistons called the hotel as they left the SBC center and had the Hotel keep the bar open til 2am. Ben Wallace was in the bar that night and was apparently a very cool and friendly guy.
Considering the Pistons' game 7 performances, I don't think we have any basis to criticize any of their pre-game 7 rituals. Whatever they're doing seems to be working.![]()
This IS Rasheed Wallace we are talking about people!
I believe it. Its common for all players to do that. IF fans are experiencing this nervousness, how do u think the players feel? If he was with some Pistons staff, and some SPurs staff, im fine with it. its normal.
Dude didnt seem nervous at all to me. Seemed like it was just another day chillin at the beach.
What he was drinking is more funny to me than the fact he was out drinking.
Then the Pistons are done. I hope your right.
Rasheed isn't nervous. In his interviews today he said that this isn't the biggest game of his life. He seemed very relaxed.
You think he'd be better off ting his pants at the free-throw line ala Tim Duncan?? Or how about tony parker looking like a scared little boy in his pre-game interview today (technically yesterday). Not to sound like a jerk, but him being unphased by the pressure is a GOOD thing.

shut up.
Dude, I think I'm more nervous than the players are. I'm freaking out!
Well since you guys enjoyed this I have another little snipit for you.
Today Antonio McDeyess was sittign by the pool today sipping drinks. A fan walks up to him on her own and says, "You look like a basketball player. Are you?"
Dice answeres, "Yeah."
Fan asks, "can I have your autograph?"
Dice, "Where are you from?"
Fan, "Texas."
Dice, "Where in Texas?"
Fan, "Austin."
Dice, "Well since your not from San Antonio i guess so."
The fan in this story was a 7 year old girl who went up to him completely on her own because she was so impressed with him.
Take this story however you want. He did turn down a little boy earlier in the day who said he was from San Antonio also. Rasheed Wallace also refused to have his picture taken with a couple little kids in the lobby.
