I would say that our confidence level is pretty low right now based on the different topics and tones of posters on this forum.
I think this could mean 1 of 2 things:
1.) The Spurs feel the same way as we do - that Detroit has no pressure and is in a win-win situation whether they win or lose which might cause the Spurs to be uptight and nervous.
or
2.) That the Spurs will respond with determination and an "it's up against the world" mentality and stick it to the Pistons tonight. The Spurs do this a lot of times when we as Spurs fans have little to no confidence.
God, I hope it's #2 tonight.

I don't think it's win-win for them, though.
If they lose tonight, then they're in the same kind of position as the Spurs were after the 2000 playoffs (not as much though since they got to the Finals).

1. has Bowen guard Billups
2. runs the offense through Tim MVP Duncan
...then I think the Spurs win.
If these things don't happen, I think it's 50-50.

If they lose, the Hubie and Co. will be pimping them as the team that almost overcame all odds to go on the road and almost pull off back to back wins when down 3-2. , you probably won't hear much about the Spurs' Championship if they do win it. The media will focus on the valiant effort from the Pistons.
If the Spurs lose, we are the greatest chokers of all time, TD can't handle the pressure, and S.A. just won a Championship during the lockout shortened season and another during a year where the compe ion was unusually weak.
