I thought he played well tonight. Bad calls by the refs put him on the bench too much, but he shot 7-10, had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and played solid defense tonight. Maybe I'm just confused, but I fail to see why so many people are calling him out. If we are to blame any of the big three, it should be Parker. If Parker wasn't so selfish tonight, Duncan would've had more points. There were at least two times I saw Duncan wide open for a dunk but Tony was too busy being a ballhog and drove to the hoop and got blocked. Maybe I'm just overly defensive of Duncan, but I'm a little confused as to how he played so poorly tonight.

Whiny fans.. Duncan got the bad end of some horrible calls tonight the refs were not allowing physical play in so many spots.. He played great in the 4th.. Nobody had much rythm but Manu in the first half..

He played well in the 4th quarter, but he was terrible in the 1st half..

Parker deserves most of the blame, though..

How was he terrible in the 1st half?! He didn't play much thanks to bad calls. That offensive foul on him was atrocious and why he had limited minutes in the first half.

To be honest he only started to show up once Perkins fouled out. Doubt we have that luxury in Game 6.

Better than the nothing Tony gave us tonight.

Perkins fouled out with under 2 minutes to go. Duncan showed up long before that.

He and Parker played uninspired loser basketball in the biggest game of the year, for most of the game.

Duncan did the fadeaway jumper once, and if it weren't for Diaw failing to seal off his man, Duncan might have made it over Perkins. Early one he fought for rebounds. Again, he didn't get the chance to score in the first half but that was because of Parker being a ballhog and the refs making bad calls. Sure he didn't go around screaming, but he still played hard.
