Almost got hit yesterday by a kid talking on a cell phone while driving. I own a cell phone, but it's not what I do. One reason is I prefer to pay attention to the moment.
We see this all the time, there are two girls walking. Instead of them enjoying each others company or being in the moment they are on their phones. Off somewhere else.
At work a guy is having a fight with the wife/girl friend. Instead of picking it up after work when both have had some time to cool down they fight all day/night by cell phone meaning the guy is paying no attention at all to the job. Which can be dangerous. Yes yes yes most times workers aren't suppose to have cell phones on the floor, yeah right that'll work
What are we becoming? Will we start evolving into a human with our necks bowed since we are always looking down?
Sure, a cell phone is great to have, nice to be able to communicate where you are, but to make it a large % of what you do.....nay!
I confess I've never been one to yak on a phone anyway. As we know women...............................

A friend of mines daughter couldn't get a job. When she finally landed one her first purchase was an expensive cell phone. She lives at home. No thoughts of sving up for a car, her own anything other than a cell phone

First of all like the track stuff you totally knew nothing about the blues stuff. I explained the situation there.
I have four (other than family) passions, blues, track, football. literature (specific areas). When it comes to those four I know what I'm talking aout. I moderated a track board. Could teach primitive blues at any University. Would beat anyone in a football trivia contest. I understand how it works on these boards, it's your job to make me look bad because I bragged. i have a friend who dropped out of college to work at a high tech co. in austin. he'd probably be homeless if it wasnt for tech tbh.
I have a son in law who ain't worth a until it comes to computers. The guy knows all there is to know about them. He can't change his oil, knows nothing about most things but have some computer question or problem and he's magic.
