The guy has an NCAA le. Earned it his senior season after losing in the Final Four the year before. Too bad he didn't show up in this series.
Gotta respect the love.Danny Green@DGreen_14
Really do hope evry1 comes bak, we got som unfinished business...and I dnt plan on goin nowhere till we achieve it

Too bad he completely disappeared this series. Looks like he wants to be back but I doubt he'll make much of difference come playoff time.
Glad to hear he's coming back. Hopefully this series will be a learning experience for all the young guys.
Lets not forget, last year the Thunder get bounced at the WCFs stage. No doubt that experience served them well this year.
his ty play in the wcf might help the spurs keep him....he played well the first two rounds
does it really matter how much experience they get if the Spurs don't get respect from the refs?
People were expecting too much out of Green. He really overachieved this season, but ultimately proved to not be talented enough to be on the floor in games that mattered.
Judging by past experience I don't think he will be coming back.
We were never going to win game 6 the way it was called in the second half, but the way we let games 3,4 and 5 slip will be the lesson that players like Danny and Kawhi need to take away from this series
Even if Green had a dreadful series, I'm still a fan. He's a good player and a good kid. I just hope he can get his head back together and make a nice impact next season.
He better not be in a Spurs uniform next season, tbh..
He has Bonner and Jefferson written all over him..
Agreed.
i hope he comes back. he had 1 decent and 1 good series this playoffs.
Bring back George Hill, get a legit back up point, get splitter to stop being a pussy and, Spurs will be right back in it next year.
I HOPE this pussy has worn the Spurs jersey for the final time tonight.
If the Spurs keep him I'm sure they will vastly overpay, and end up lcoking his sorry as up for four years, and then be stuck trying to trade him two years in when they realize he is not mentally fit for playoff basketball.
Bonner 2.0 tbh, RJ is a little too harsh.
There's a difference between being passive, and gay.
Green is young, he'll get better.
I like Danny. He went cold at the wrong time, but I honestly think he was a better option than Neal for much of the series because of his D. I want to see him back in a Spurs uni.
Green was not known as a 3 pts shooter in the early season. He played with energy and provide good defense and his hustle plays are manu-esque.
Then he slowly showed that he can shoot 3s and has proven to be a streaky shooter.
In the playoffs, he was too dependent on his 3s and he was lucky that he was stay hot during the 1st 2 rounds. But when he went cold in the WCF, he was useless. His hustle, defense, energy....all gone.
Some folks here have short memories.
The Spurs wouldn't have made such short work of the Clippers and Jazz without Green's contributions. He was a key contributor as a starter throughout the season. Sure he had some ups and downs, but he worked hard and stayed with the program.
Granted, he didn't have a good series versus the Thunder and his epitaph was written once Pop changed the starting lineup. However, he should continue to improve and I want to see him back in the starting 2-guard role next year.
Personally, I'm glad to hear he wants to be back and I'm sure the Spurs will welcome him back.
They need to get rid of annual playoff choker Bonner, get rid of Green and Splitter. Those guys were just out there for nothing ing up. I really do hope we keep Jackson onboard with us. We need his toughness, it was keeping us in but then the refs had to it up.
He's still under contract next year. If he wants to come back, we get him cheap and then he's an unrestricted free agent.
Green was reliant on 3s, because that's all he can do on a regular basis..I've been saying it all year, while most of ST was tossing his salad..
His floor game is limited, he can't finish at the rim, and he's an average defensive player..
He played against 1 notable team in the playoffs, and he played horribly..he's clearly soft, him..the Jazz and Clippers were ty teams that don't play defense, I don't give a what he did against them..
he is one of the young guns that played well and helped get us here. its hard to get your mojo back when you riding the pine.
