Of course it's not over...the San Antonio Heat can still win the East.
The contender's era I mean. Spurs were just inches from winning this game and you saw how they morphed into a team that would have crushed the Grizz if they crossed paths this postseason. The Spurs are like a virus. They adapt and create new strains to overwhelm what they could not defeat the year before. TD is going to come back in great shape again and Kawhi and the youth movement will be a year better.
If we can retain Diaw and SJax or at least one, that's a bonus. And, the FO, will find a difference maker in the offseason, probably with a legit defending big. I think we have another shot because the Spurs have rebuilt on the fly and will be contenders even after Manu and Timmy are far past their prime. This team is nowhere near lottery bound anytime soon.
I still believe.
