yes thats a dog fish. its VERY poisonous when eaten so dont do it.
theyre the ancestors of the first fish to walk on land. thats why they survive so long when theyre out of water.
I caught these fish in Padre Island. I have no idea what type they are. The Ugly one would bark and people were calling them dog fish but I dont think that it the real name.
