I didn't think I was going to really care much about the Olympics this year. Seems every 4 years, I grow less and less interested. When I was a kid, I was glued to the set and would watch any event that came on. Maybe part of it was the drama of the U.S. going against the evil steroid Russians and East Germans. All time favorite sports memory was beating the Russians in hockey. Biggest regret were the boycotts between U.S.S.R. and U.S.A.
Anyway, I'm pretty excited about 2012 in England. Anyone else drinking this kool-aid?

Unless you just don't like sports or human drama, everyone can find something to sit and watch in the Olympics. I'll leave it running on the TV constantly. Whether it's diving or track or swimming, there will be tons of great sports moments. The underdog coming from out of nowhere. Or the seasoned champ trying to win one more medal. Good stuff man.

i ran track and cross country in high school but find it boring as to watch. Maybe i'll catch the high lights. I'd rather be out jogging myself truth be had. Maybe, MAYBE i'll watch womens sand volleyball. those chicks are good. I may catch a gold medal basketball game cause usa will steam roll whoever they play until that round. all the other basketball games with spurs players like france and australia will be played during the middle of work days, so....
