Reportedly opted out to seek a payday and long-term security. Doubt the Spurs have a chance with him.

^ We already have a much cheaper version of him in Kawhi. No reason to pursue this guy, especially with the kind of money he's looking for.

No doubt in my mind he is looking for a Jefferson type of contract. And I am sure he will get it. He deserves it more than Jefferson tbh

Wallace got 4-year, $40 million. That's a whole lot of money for a 30-year-old with an injury history who relies on his athleticism extensively.

Terrible contract. Brooklyn is going to regret giving him that. Then again, the offers so far in this offseason have been ludicrous.

GM's didn't learn a damn thing from the lockout apparently.

He's not terribly skilled, but he's effective on both ends of the floor and plays hard. I'm not saying that's worth $10M/yr for the next four, but it's not Asik at $8M. I mean, at least the guy is productive now.

Plus, I think the Nets want an even halfway competent player on the roster in case DWill really goes to Dallas.

I heard Donnie Nelson, Rick Carlisle and even Findog are gonna talk to him.
