The three things that probably frustrated Spurs fans the most in the 2004-2005 season ended up being the three most important factors in the 7th game of the NBA Finals.
We relentlessly went through Duncan, and while he again didn't shoot particularly well from the field, he opened up the three point game.
The offense was not great, but Defense wins Championships. Thank Pop for Godovich.
And Brent Barry ran the offense perfectly as the backup to Parker. Perhaps this was the role he was meant to play all along.
