Canceled right before the end of the 2nd month and got the deal twice.
Anyone stumble upon this deal?
I pretty much only play Skyrim and Halo Reach on the xbox, and once my free xbox live subscription ran out, I couldn't justify paying thirst prices just to play halo every once in a while.
But two Weeks into no xbox live, I saw a 2 months for 2 dollars ad on my xbox home main page.
I did some quick internet research, and its legit, you justgotta turn off auto bill off so you don't pay regular price when it runs out.

They used to make you call to cancel, then they made it where you could cancel on the website, and then they went back to calling. Not sure where it is now, but calling was always a pain in the ass. Went for deals for Live cards after that. Hopefully they made the cancellation process easier now...have they?

Got console banned like a month ago and yesterday they decided that wasn't enough, so they banned my gamertag from live too until the year 9999you Microsoft
Just log into the website then find settings and turn off auto renewal.
if you call in they might offer you a cheap renewal.

Amazon had a deal a few weeks back 12 month card for $35.
