WTF?
Just traded Quentin Richardson for Kurt Thomas.
IMO, a dumb trade, you just traded a guy that FITS your running O, and now you bring a slow power forward?!?!?!??
The owner just said " we needed a low post presence defensively, and thats what we got"
Are you kiddin me?!?? lmfao

Silly trade in my opinion... Suns were the team that gave me nightmares...
Moving AMARE to the PF is a huge mistake in my opinion.
(I reserve the right to not rip T Park as long as his takes are non PRO-SPUR, otherwise.... he needs to go!)
tpark....the sky is blue and the ground is full of dirt.
Q. Richardson wasn't exactly a great player and Phoenix got a first round pick on that along with an extra big body which is needed. Joe Johnson is a much better guard
Obviously, TPark is living up to his promises. . . .
It's a curious deal for the Suns, though.
Q was a negative for the Suns. They played much better when he was out and Jim Jackson was in.
Thomas is muscle with a decent jumper. It's a good trade for the Suns.
Q was taking up $$$ that they needed for Joe J.
that doesn't fit their running offense what so ever.Thomas is muscle with a decent jumper. It's a good trade for the Suns.
!?!??!
Their offense is based on Amare dominating inside while other players take jumpers and the running might be effected a little but they just got alot better at rebounding.
I don't know that Thomas has ever been in a running offense, but he seems athletic enough that he wouldn't be a hindrance.
He'll definitely help their half-court game, and has a more rounded game than Stephen Hunter.
They can now still have a post threat on offense when Amare is resting.
And they give up by far their weakest link of the starters, and it sounds like they got some cap room to pay Joe Johnson.
I thought it was a good trade. Q was exposed during the WCF 2005 as a one dimensional player. Anyone can run around in a fastbreak offense, and shoot threes.
Your basketball takes are astounding, Adidas.
Q was a great fit in general for the Suns (as mentioned by pundits all year). He was a great three point shooter and a guy that could get to the line. The Spurs would welcome him.
It was a financial thing; they couldn't keep both Q and JJ. JJ was the obvious choice, despite Q's selling points.
which will slow them down even more.
suns playing a half court game? hmmm
They are already small!!!Knicks need to go small
This just gives em room to trade Tim useless Thomas now.
