bumping this thread if NO matches
sons I know I banned myself for 30 days back on the 19th, but f*ck it I was up for parole and got out early on good behavior plus this news was better than draft night! now hopefully the Hornets can match it with a sign and trade or some and get that overrated, self righteous, injury prone, chucking piece of out of here!!! its a celebration sons!!!
oh and Phoenix sorry sons, but you're basically Precious below and everyone can see it ...

Cant do that!!!
If they match, hes on the team for at least half a year (I think).
If they match it, they can't trade him this season without his consent.
son he hasn't wanted to be here since day 1 and he has visited like 4-6 teams in the last week so getting his consent wouldn't be a problem. plus I don't think Demps is stupid enough to give him a max deal even with the cap space. giving Eric Gordon a max contract would be worse than the Peja contract years ago.
We'll know by the 14th.

Gordon was the key player in the Chris Paul deal and Hornets have long been resolved to match a max offer sheet and keep him.
Gordon has been wined and dined in the last week by Houston, Phoenix, Indiana, and today with Portland trying to get a max contract that he feels he is en led to. he was also scheduled to meet with Dallas and Charlotte this week as well, however with him signing the offer from Phoenix tonight will change those plans. he wants Phoenix.

Could see on his face he knew they were matching. At least Aminu won't have that problem.
Is signing for or getting traded to New Orleans that sad? They look like they're being photographed for a mug shot.
sons the facts are there. Suns fans don't be fooled by his PPG
from a previous post of mine ...
" wow sons this guy is the BIGGEST WIMP IN THE NBA! I swear every time you turn around he is hurt again, or aggravated a previous injury, or hurt his pussy while putting his uniform on, etc., etc. What gets me the most though is that he still had the audacity to DEMAND a max contract of 5 years, 80 million after only playing 2 damn games for the Hornets and demanding it while still injured. sons this wimp has now missed 20 games in a row and has missed 46 games (and counting) over the last year of NBA basketball! the only solid year this wimp has had was his rookie year and he has spent tons of time on the bench with numerous injuries ever since.
2009-10: Injured for 20 games
2010-11: Injured for 26 games
2011-12: Injured for 57 games
sons do we have any takers for this wimp? what's with all the hype behind him anyways? the dude put up 22 PPG last season after only playing in 56 games (on a ty team) and chucked the ball way too much and now all of a sudden some Hornets fans think this guy is right up there with D-Wade lol. we basically traded a ticking time bomb injured Chris Paul for another injury prone player and a couple of bench players. at least we still got the draft pick though"
at that time? yes ... over the last 3 months? its like hitting the jackpot.
Man, none of them seemed to be happy. Aminu should be gald for a freaking paycheck, that scrub![]()
Truth bombs, son he is good when he is healthy but when is that? I get that they dont want that Paul trade to appear tier than it already does (yes I know, still better than Lakers/rox deal) but the tanked worked. They won the lottery and they drafted Rivers with the Minny pick. Signing Gordon long-term isnt needed to justify it. sign and trade seems like the smart move, re-sign a more cost effective short-term option.
instant reaction from WDSU/NBC New Orleans sports anchor ...
Why do you keep callling him a "chucker"?
His usage rate isnt anywhere near the likes of Kobe, Wade etc and he shoots a good percentage from the field, three point land and free throw line.

Time to rejoice, B... Eric Gordon's coming back to the Hornets!
son maybe he isn't as bad of a chucker as the likes of the ones you mentioned, but if he could ever play a decent amount of games then I guarantee you his averages would be lower. regardless, these stats alone should worry anyone about him ...
2009-10: Injured for 20 games
2010-11: Injured for 26 games
2011-12: Injured for 57 games
sure he put up 22PPG in 2010-11, but he also missed 26 games and put up those numbers on a ty team. before that season he had never averaged more than 16PPG.
don't be fooled by players like Gordon who put up good numbers when playing on ty teams. I can remember all the hype behind Emeka Okafor because he was averaging like 14 and 11 for five seasons in Charlotte and everyone thought that pairing him with CP3 in NOLA would turn him into a 20 and 10 player. well guess what? he came to a better team with CP3 and has averaged about 10 and 8 over three years here.
Eric Gordon is The Truth, tbh... certified baller... too bad NOLA doesn't have a training staff like them Suns...
