there're still decent options in the FA market. if we make a few good signings there we're still pretty compe ive next season. sign Dragic first of all and look for another player whose name also starts with D, sign him too and we're still making up the Triple D

The problem with Cuban is that he assumed he could rebuild on salary cap space alone. He was wrong. Superstars almost never leave in straight up free agency, and when they do, it's not to a city like Dallas or San Antonio. It's NY, Miami, and L.A.

And playing with Dirk is not an incentive enough for players to join because it's not a guarantee that they will complete for a le.

He'll have to rebuild by getting lucky in the draft. Which won't happen for a while because Dirk will be good enough to make the Mavs decent enough that they won't get a high lottery pick for another two or three years.
