He has his moments but he's nothing to be too impessed about.
Almost all of his losses are really bad ones.

Verlander overrated thats the funniest thing i've read all day. Most of his losses this year the Tigers put up turds on offense. He's the leagues strikeout leader, reigning Cy Young and MVP winner but yeah hes overrated.

You can throw career stats all day. To me, it doesn't matter at the end.
I'm more concern about how clutch a pitcher is in key moments.
From what I've seen he always gets lit up. Dont know if that's a coincidence from the time I watch him but that's that.

Jose Bautista, Big Papi, Josh Hamilton, etc... laid a big fat goose egg tonight. Those guys are home run hitters but didn't do a in thing tonight for the AL.
I really hope in the next five years or less that MLB changings the home field advantage rule. That rule is one of the tiest and dumbest rules in pro sports. If you have the better record, you should get more home games than the other team in the World Series. Case closed. No exceptions or excuses. No ifs, ands, or buts. You don't let a meaningless exhibition game have an effect on the championship. That's just wrong. The NBA and NHL don't do that .

I think the whole HFA thing is a terrible idea as well. I mean, it works out for the league that gets it, but overall it seems to only put the emphasis on, if you're in the winning league, you'd work hard enough to garner entry into the second season and then catch fire and voila! You get to host the WS.
o well....the Angels wont have HFA in the World Series.
