Only to Spurs fans is a WCF appearance mediocrity.
Yep, I love Duncan and all but......
Mediocrity it is.....
Read this book already....
Only to Spurs fans is a WCF appearance mediocrity.
Three more years of making the playoffs.
Three more years of cheering for Tim Duncan as a spur.
I bet when timmy won these![]()

you were happy.
This is why we're not so different from Lakerfans, tbh...
Word on the street is that he fell on the ground (not too far a fall) and cried like a baby.
Short people got no reason to live. - Randy Newman
You make some of the worst posts in this forum. Many teams are good for a few years and then fade away, Spurs are good now how many years? les lately no, but how many teams have lasted this long at this level? Stop ing and enjoy it.
I wouldn't call making the playoffs 22 out of the last 23 seasons mediocrity.
It'll be interesting to see what the Spurs do year after next year with Manu and Jackson contracts expiring. Next year is probably the final push for a 'chip before mediocrity really hits the following year. I think keeping Duncan around for the young guys we draft after that will be great.
3 More Years of trying to reach the permitted height to ride the ride.
GFY.
i hope your referring to matt boner
Wasn't he ing about the Spurs not doing anything less than a week ago? This has got to be a troll job.
Trade him to the Clippers then... we'd gladly take 3 years of his "mediocrity"...
I just wish there were some young, athletic bigs for Duncan to mentor.
I don't know if I'd rather spurs start rebuilding or seeing Duncan at 12 points 8 Rebs a game in future
You read?
Mediocrity!? Number 1 seed two years in a row, only lost WCFs because OKC got inordinately hot from 15-20ft... and to you that is mediocrity.
Just go away now.![]()
Don't forget the ridiculous calls in Game 6.
That's a clown post, bro'.
Go jump in a lake.
And what do you propose they do instead OP? Tell Duncan to go somewhere else? Trade Ginobili for a 18th pick and another, inferior high salary player? Then what? Tell Parker thanks but no thanks, we're going to suck now and waste the prime of your career?
Explain to me how re-signing Duncan when we were two games away from the Finals last year (and imo, still only lost because Stern "booked" it to be a series win for OKC) is a bad move. Because I'm not seeing it.
We're not going to get any free agents flocking to the city, especially with Duncan gone. We're not going to be finding any great gems in the draft to replace the gigantic hole we'd have in our frontcourt with him gone too. Barely anyone ever comes here. Certainly not anyone worth a damn unless we overpay which would be the same mistake you're essentially claiming they're making now.
The team is going to suck for a long time after Duncan's gone. Try enjoying it rather than ing that you get to see winning basketball for another three years before it's over. The Spurs are not going to be interesting when Duncan and Manu are gone, and Parker is old and slowed down.
The statistical odds of the Spurs rising to the levels of power close to what we've just experienced within any reasonable amount of time are close to 0 unless we win the draft. . .which based on how Stern has seemed to set things up lately to perfectly have things go according to his plans, isn't going to happen for 100% certainty. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we slid down to 4 or 5 if we had the worst record and best chance to get the top pick.
Fixed it for you.
I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't a Spurs fan until the mid to late 2000s. Worse yet, probably hasn't been since 2007 or 2008. If he watched in the early 2000's when he was carrying a team of scrubs and still won a le, I seriously doubt he'd be running his mouth about Duncan sticking around.
And winning more les than all but like. . .3 teams in ANY major sport over that span; Bulls (6, 1990-1998), Yankees (5, 1996-now), Lakers (5, 2000-now).
Not exactly a poor showing, especially considering the only teams with more championship wins are from the largest three markets in the country with the most cash to blow on buying players and les.

Just speaks about how much HoF worthy Duncan and Popovich are tbh
Pales in comparison to your nine-plus years of posting mediocrity.
Mediocrity.
There are 30 teams.
Mediocrity (medium, in the middle) is between 11 and 20.
I don't see Spurs being mediocre.
They will be very good, again.
