Somebody with brains, please explain how Ian Mahinmi gets 4 yrs 16 mill and then goes to Indiana for Collison and Jones.

Did we miss something in Ian? Or have Collison and Jones become so bad that they are not worth a dime?

Blairs stats for the '11-12 season were way better the Ian. Maybe we could find a GM that can see that. Bonner even had stats that matched Ian.

If we are shopping Blair and Bonner are we asking too much for them?

This may work to our advantage over the next 2 years. FA will get less dollar contracts because team will be over the salary cap and we will have tons of cap money next season as well as the following season.

Indy's making bad decisions. Hill's not a point guard, and he and Ian both seem to be overpaid. Watching the sudden failure against Miami when Hibbert went to the bench, however, underscores their need for backup bigs who can do similar things, which is why they pulled the trigger. Compared to what Collison is going to want next year, they proably think they got Hill for a bargain.

If the Spurs want to find two teams that need backups for an undersized starting center who can't rebound, can't block shots and can't defend then there's probably sign and trades out there to be made.
