The real story here is Brutal being bounced from the board for keeps. I'm surprised the old timers aren't more vocal about this as nobody knows as well as they do how vital he has been for many years to the pulse of conversation here and on other boards. I hope he finds a home before the Olympics. I see he already got banned from tracktalk.net which took him all 563 posts and one month. Don't be surprised if wherever he lands becomes better worth reading than his old haunts. Assuming he doesn't already walk among us.
As for my view on the other matters, I wrote a two thousand word email to the moderator outlining that. He's welcome to post it in this thread if he likes. I'd do so myself but don't want the action to be taken as inflammatory.
