    If the Sox had been able to get Billy Beane, they'd be unstoppable. If you gave him that payroll, it'd be over. Never happened, and they will continue to struggle until they get some intelligence in that area.

    The Yankees are getting a name and that's pretty much it.

    Ichiro is 38 years old, batting .260 with an OBP below .300 while he's on pace to tie a career low in steals. Gotta love how much this deal is getting blown out of proportion.

    I get Ichiro sucks with Seattle, but in that lineup, he will provide a very good value.
