I had someone hack my twitter account just this week. My 75 followers were stunned.
With a very odd account and virtually nobody following me, how the did these guys even find my account to hack? Probably someone sniffing packets somewhere at a open wifi gateway would be my guess. For well-known people like this, you had better make damned sure you have a very good password that changes frequently.
