The Heat are the obvious pick for the bandwagon fan in '06. They have the glitzy stars and they have South Beach. Actual basketball analysis has nothing to do with it.
Just because the Spurs win three les it doesn't mean that stupid people spontaneously will regenerate brain tissue. They will continue to think stupid things.

I can't say I'm surprised at the timing. Every moron is picking next year's champs today because if they're right, then they can dig up there prediction and make everyone think that they're geniuses. And if they don't, well what sports fan really has that long of a memory?
As far as the validity of that claim, this is guy is on crack. Shaq is damaged goods, whether anyone will admit it or not. How long was it supposed to take for that thigh to heal versus how long it actually took? Wade still has a lot of room to grow and he will be an all star next year, you can mark that down. But he's not ready to take a team on his back, and with the Diesel looking more and more like The Mo-ped with each passing season they just don't have the tools to get the job done.
When this guy says Shaq will be a year older and a year wiser he's only half right.
