It's a week of them showing a shark biting into something while they talk about how it has really sharp teeth. It says a lot about how stupid this country is that people are so enamored with it.

They dont even show new stuff. They recycle old shows.

You see one Shark do entary and you've seen them all. I'm a science advocate, but I don't get how anyone cares for any nature do entary after Planet Earth and Life came out.
That being said, there are tons of worse examples of media forms people get excited for that we could point out.

True, but I see more excitement over Shark Week than I do a lot of those other things.
I haven't seen that one. I'll find a torrent of it. Have you seen the one where the camera man almost got attacked?
