I think Nazr has a slight advantage in the athletism department. Other than that, I think they are pretty much equal. If Nazr can learn to catch a ball , and throw some down with authority, I think he will be a better for the Spurs than Rasho.
The only thing Rasho is good for now is trade bait.

If y'all remember, Rasho was playing pretty darned well right after we got Nazr. Up until he turned his ankle. Actually, the way Nazr played in games 4,5, and 6 if I were the coach I would have started Rasho in game 7.
I don't think he's going anywhere next year. Even if Nazr remains the starter Rasho will get a lot of minutes because Horry won't play nearly so much in the regular season.
Rasho will be a big part of the team for years to come. He had a tough year this year, but I'm glad we still have him.
He is the best 12th man in the league..... If they bring Scola, and resign Horry, I think they will try and trade Rasho. The $$$ he makes is not 12th man in the rotation $$$.

OK, I am from Slovenia, and I don`t think Rasho is better than Mohammed. Defense maybe is his stronger part, but overall, Nazr is better. But sometimes in this final, Rasho could play better, than Mohammed did.

Seriously I'm obviously a big fan of Rasho and I wish he will have a role to play on "my" Spurs. I think there were situations in the finals where Rasho could have made a better job than Nazr did. On the other hand I do not have a major problem with Nazr. He seems to be a good person and a good teammate, if the Spurs can cure his butter fingers and upfakes, he can become a big part in the Spurs system.
Ideally the coaches will find a way to use both - either one is probably too good (and too expensive) to ride the pine the whole season.
As a Spurs fan I would love to have that sort of depth at the C position. It would be a luxury that not many teams have.

Both are good @ what they give you, both have strengths over the other, but also weaknesses.
Nazr has the better OFF, Rasho better DEF. Ideally we need an athletic Center in the mold of DROB, with OFF & DEF.
