Too many people in that SUV to begin with.......that's probably why the tire blew.

Eight kids and two adults in an Envoy...only the driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts. Two toddlers, neither in a car seat.
How ing dumb can you be.

wow thats ing brutal
Wow. Wasn't there another horrible crash a few years ago on 20 or 30, somewhere in the dfw area, that killed a bunch of kids or a whole family? I think it was an envoy too.
Damn...
'' 13-year-old Rosvaelia Jaimes, 2-year-old Urit Jaimes Three children were flown to area hospitals. A boy, 7-year-old Omar Jaimes was pronounced dead a short time later at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas''
How in the can you not buckle up children? That should be negligence right there.
Could be manslaughter.
Awful story sure would have helped to have car seats and seat belts. Back in my day we used to pile in the back of a pick up truck and hit the highway thought nothing of it.
What a horrible story.
Criminally negligent homicide.
That's the lest of their worries after losing those kids.
It's...Texas. Do you have to ask?
A vehicle with a 8 person max capacity has 10 in it... It has two rear seats designed for 2 people each, and 3 in each is a squeeze already.
I've never heard of people over fill a vehicle before. Crazy world we live in
I just read an article that said all 10 unrestrained occupants were thrown from the vehicle, and two had seat belts.
That would mean 12 were in it!
Like those 14 Messicans that were killed in South Texas when they hit a tree. I think there were 28 or something in the truck.
Occasionally (and unfortunately) darwinism strikes the children of the stupid instead of the stupid themselves.
Absolutely horrible. Unfortunately, we live in a society were people are increasingly ignoring the rules for the sake of convenience. The driver, of course, was uninjured but will have to live with the consequences of disregarding laws meant to keep his family safe.
