Spurs never "go for it" during the regular season or are satisfied with a great regular season record. Proof? Over the last 6 years Pop has played his bench the most minutes in the NBA 5 times and third most minutes once. Pop couldn't care less about regular season forsaking winning streaks and potential higher seedings just to rest starters. He is the first to pull the plug when the team is down big, and when they are winning big. I've seen Kobe left in until the end of a blowout game while continuing to chuck...
