Why? I know spur fan isn't supposed to like jet and all but he isn't like thuggish or anything..he seems pretty whitewashed as far as black folk go. He's always been a stand up guy in the community.

He does speak pretty well, and is a y asshole, so that's two points in his favor.
I'm a fan of his commentary work, so I think he deserves a shot. He maybe re ed but thankfully he's not uneducated.

As a player, I'm not a huge fan of him. With that said, his commentary on NBA TV a few months ago was pretty good. I personally wouldn't be opposed to him being a commentator when he retires.
dude's a funny guy and he'd do a great job as a commentator but i believe it'd be even better if he joins mavs coaching staff as a shooting coach, he's gonna be a handsome guy to tutor their youngsters after he retires and the mavs start rebuilding tbh

This. That head is SO HUGE that I'm not sure they could get the other commentators on the screen with him, even in HD widescreen format.
I'm guessing it's a given that he would wear his Mavs championship ring on TNT.
