    Seasons 1-3 of Homicide: Life on the Street (based on earlier material from the creator of The Wire) make up some of the best drama ever aired on network TV.

    Giancarlo Esposito was actually on that show, but during seasons 6 and 7, long after it jumped the shark and became a merely decent show ruined by one or two truly abhorrent characters.

    For me, it's 3 > 1 > 2 > 4 > 5 > 6.

    I didn't even bother watching 7. Falsone was such a stupid character, going after Kellerman as soon as he got to homicide. Nobody would do that .
