I love owls.. do the screatch real loud? or are they barn owls?
Thats sooo cool they live right there in your yard.
A couple of really excellent pictures there. Nice job.
Those were really nice pics, kinda reminds me of the owl in Clash of the ans!
I think they are barn owls. Thanks for the comments guys!
Lemme at 'em. I will bring ma musket and settle this once and for all!
That was a great movie man! I don't care what anyone says....hey? Was that really Jim Morrison in Clash Of The ans?![]()
yeah, that movie kicked butt!! I need to watch that again.
Jim Morrisondork
but yeah, owls kinda creep me out.
Great pics though!
Those really are excellent photos...Ever been sitting outside sipping a glass of wine and have one of those things swoop down & scoop up a mouse...Really scared the heck out of me...![]()
As you can see they are bigger than a football & they are complete silent in their dive...Awesome creatures...
Owls look badass.
Please don't ever invite me over.
Sincerely,
Mouse
Owls are cool! I haven't seen one in a long time.
Those are beautiful!
I don't think I've ever seen one outside of the zoo....and books, of course. Is that here in San Antonio?
No, Its not in SA. It is south of there.
Spectacular pictures!
Don't be startled if you walk outside the house late in the evening and they buzz you. They're just looking to see if you stirred anything up worth eating.
Makes an eerie "whoosh" sound with the air over their wings.
I was quite disappointed with Audubon.org's display of owls.
I have a lot of old trees around my house (live & post oaks with big hollows in them), so I have some big old hoot owls that I hear every night; I've seen them fly across the field in front of my house and they have a huge wingspan.
Really neat birds. I'm lucky to have them around to enjoy.
I always wanted a pet owl as a child - they're awesome. I had a neighbor that used to take in injured ones, and they made the coolest noises.
Those are great pics, I love owls!
I see Owls all the time. My dad lives in the country.
I thought there were going to be pictures of hooters not owls!![]()
