Dead Space was just a cheap EA-ized knockoff of System Shock 2. but SS2 was so good that even a cheap EA-ized knock off was better than most other games

SS2 just got a patch out of ing nowhere, making it easier to run on modern systems and improving the engine quite a bit, I'm hoping there are still some SS2 modders out there who will take this and run with it, so to speak.
