repping the WAC right alongside 5-0 UTSA son !!!
sons LSU may not even be the best team in Louisiana if this keeps up.
RUSTON, LA -
A season of firsts just added to its list of accomplishments as Louisiana Tech entered the Top 25 rankings in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls following the Bulldogs 58-31 win over UNLV.
Tech was ranked 23rd this week in the Associated Press poll, only the second time the AP has ranked the Bulldogs in the history of the program. The only other time the AP has ranked Tech was in 1999 as the Bulldogs were 8-2 and ranked 25th prior to the season finale at Southern Cal.
In the USA Today/Coaches poll, Tech garnered a No. 24 ranking marking the first time that poll has ranked the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs currently have the nation's longest regular season winning streak at 12 games.
Louisiana Tech moved to 5-0 on the year after its win over the Rebels in a game where the Bulldogs scored at least 31 unanswered points for the third consecutive game. LA Tech now has wins over the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big Ten Conference, Conference USA (twice) and the Mountain West Conference this season.
Tech is off to its best start since the 1975 season and is ranked second in the nation in turnover margin, third in the nation in scoring offense and 11th in the nation in total offense.
No. 23/24 Louisiana Tech will face No. 22/21 Texas A&M on Saturday at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. The Bulldogs will be looking for their first win over a ranked opponent since 2005 when Tech upended No. 23 Fresno State, 40-28, in Fresno, Calif.

I agree that A&M needs to watch out for this team.
Which doesn't really speak well for the aggies or the SEC.
Too many people talking about it.
Ags win by double digits.
La Tech ranks 119 in total defense. While Ole Miss defense is nothing great either, they have better athletes on that side of the ball. A&M obviously can't afford to turn the ball over 6 times again and they wont.
La Tech will put up some points on us but they won't be able to stop our rushing attack that ranks 2nd in the SEC at 226/ypg.

i'm not sold on our rushing attack yet, considering that a good chunk of the yards are coming from manziel and not a whole lot of that average is from running between the tackles. still, latech will not contain the aggies. could be a shootout.
I am definitely factoring in Manziel. He is part of our rushing attack and should be included. He will have 150+ yards rushing against La Tech.
Our running game with our running backs has definitely been average at best.
I'm fairly hopeful as long as A&M doesn't get one of those damned numbers beside their name.
Sonuva !
that's actually a pretty good call. i'd have to go with something like that
