The oft repeated one on this board of Rasho for Battier doesn't work in the CBA.
I'm sure most people have heard of it. It's a site where given the team's situation it makes legal trade or signing FA scenarios and if your team can't or can do it. I'm too lazy to see who the Spurs can get or not get but, I'm sure hard fans like Timvp or MB could probably make a list.

Some guy wrote Alan Houston to the Spurs? in the threads for Spurs GM. hahaha They're crazy hes like the 5th highest paid athelete and he sucks!
Its actually not crazy.
Under the new CBA each team can waive a players contract, meaning the Knicks will likely waive Houstons. He will be waived of the team BUT his contract will be paid by the league and not count against the Knicks payroll.
He can then be signed by another team. When his already recieving a large pay from the league he might be willing to take a portion of the MLE to play here. Such is my understanding anyway.
Giving him ANY of the MLE is too much of it.
We've got bigger fish to fry than a washed up SG with bad knees.
There's a reason NY wants to get rid of Houston. He's done.
Unfortunately the Spurs don't have the right type of situation and personnel to take on a headcase ala the Bulls and Rodman in 1995.
Perhaps, but even with bad knees he can shoot. Cou8ld he be that elusive spot up shooter we've needed.
I know - I just wanted to see how the trade checker worked.
that. I wouldn't take him for Mike Wilks. He is a very Tysonesque.
Just throwing it out there
I'd love to get Houston.
