It's called a mercy kill. The 49ers no longer have to ever worry about what could have been last year. The Giants have done all 49ers fans a great service today and they should be thankful.
This is exactly how to word it. Last year and the what ifs can be put to bed. The giants are just a superior team to the 49ers. They can beat them in close games, and they can anal rape them like today. This Giants tean is better than last years. Injuries and dumb mental mistakes are why they don't have a better record, but it is a long season. I like how everything is setting up for the Giants.
