still to have a chance, he needs to take Florida, North Carolina and Virginia. not going to happen. Romney needs the perfect storm, Obama just needs to not loose.

Obama just needs to not loose.
Obama seems to be doing everything he can to do just that. His campaign has been worse than McCains was last time.

Romney is probably gonna win all 3 of those states. That map listing North Carolina as a swing state is laughable. Romney has also done a good job shamelessly pandering to Israel with his neo-conservative views on Iran that he's gonna scoop up a lot of the Miami Beach Jews who used to vote overwhelmingly Democrat. The thing is both candidates need to win Ohio to win the election, those 3 states won't do it for Romney w/o Ohio.

NC considered as a swing state is less laughable than considering Michigan as a swing state tbh same for Wisconsin considered as a swing state on the map but has been voted Democrat the last 10 elections.

Michigan is more key than people might think, Romney has a chance if he can push Obama to spend money there and not in Ohio for instance but it's unlikely he can achieve that.

here you have a point, Obama is playing to not loose maybe it will cost him the election but as of today he has the most easy road to the win.

I'm not considering anything your dumb ass 270towin.com is, these 3 states are considered as swing state like also Wisconsin, Michigan... Florida has voted twice Democrats and twice Republicans in the last 4 elections, NC has voted once democrat for 3 rep, same for Virginia. Now Michigan and Wisconsin have voted Democrats the last 10. Once again Obama has the easiest path.

Been saying it all along, Obama already bought this election with welfare a long time ago. There's a reason why "every minority in cleveland" got an obama phone and not every minority in say texas.

    oh hi

All those programs cost taxpayers more than $668 billion last year. That’s an increase of more than $193 billion since Barack Obama became president. It’s roughly 2˝ times greater than any previous increase over a similar time frame in U.S. history and will increase means-tested welfare spending by about 2.4 percent of gross domestic product. Moreover, if one includes state and local welfare spending, government at all levels will spend more than $952 billion this year to fight poverty.

You're an idiot. Romney's comments about shutting down the auto industry lost him Ohio. Your 10% that even qualifies for those phones and most of which don't vote are irrelevant. And this is stupid anyway that program has been around for decades. You get your takes off of youtube. Thats funny.

(SALT LAKE CITY) Tribune endorsement: Too Many Mitts

In short, this is the Mitt Romney we knew, or thought we knew, as one of us.

Sadly, it is not the only Romney, as his campaign for the White House has made abundantly clear, first in his servile courtship of the tea party in order to win the nomination, and now as the party’s shape-shifting nominee. From his embrace of the party’s radical right wing, to subsequent portrayals of himself as a moderate champion of the middle class, Romney has raised the most frequently asked question of the campaign: "Who is this guy, really, and what in the world does he truly believe?"

The evidence suggests no clear answer, or at least one that would survive Romney’s next speech or sound bite. Politicians routinely tailor their words to suit an audience. Romney, though, is shameless, lavishing vastly diverse audiences with words, any words, they would trade their votes to hear.

More troubling, Romney has repeatedly refused to share specifics of his radical plan to simultaneously reduce the debt, get rid of Obamacare (or, as he now says, only part of it), make a voucher program of Medicare, slash taxes and spending, and thereby create millions of new jobs. To claim, as Romney does, that he would offset his tax and spending cuts (except for billions more for the military) by doing away with tax deductions and exemptions is utterly meaningless without identifying which and how many would get the ax. Absent those specifics, his promise of a balanced budget simply does not pencil out.

Therefore, our endorsement must go to the in bent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first.
