I just quit my job. You could go on and say " what a stupid thing to do" but in reality I've thought about this for a very long time. Now, I have 4k dollars on various mutual funds and 200 on my savings account and a few credit cards. I could live on for a while, and could apply for student loans as i am current part time student. Parents is not an option.

I applied for a few jobs a week ago, got a call but my shcool schedule is so ty i find id hard to find a job that would fit. I badly need money to pay for my bills, but i dont want to quit class because dropping dead line passed by a week ago plus i have above average grades, would be a total waste to quit class.

I already did not pay for last month rent. I am going to get kicked out if i dont pay next month. What can i do, so that i do end up using my Mutual fonds money? Its being going up and up the last couple of months so dont want to use it.,

You're an a tight spot. Sounds like you have a commitment issue. Want to work but dont want to quit school, got a callback from one of those job applications but dont want it because your school schedule is bad.

Anyway, why aren't parents an option? You could always ask for a little help without having to move in with them. You cant do everything by yourself, sometime one needs help.

If you're cutting it close on rent then use of of those trustee funds you got. Gotta hae a place to sleep before you can do any of the two above.

If that 4k in mutual funds is pre tax, you will not only be liable for the state and federal taxes if you take any out, but the penalty too. Can you withdraw 50 cents on the dollar of it? I would think you'll only get maybe 40 cents on the dollar.

They have their own problems financially as well. I just cant seem to find a job that wouldn't conflict with school. 'm still trying, any job would do for now. If i sue the fund, not only am i missing out on the good money but i am going to be taxed hard and i'm not suppose to withdraw any of that now.. But if comes down to it..I guess i have no choice. Right now trying my best not to use my funds.

for a young ambitious student there's nothing wrong to quit such a job where you can't see no future. just live a frugal life and you can sustain w/o a lame job or . student loan sounds good and it'd be best if you can also cut spending. say 800/mon is too expensive, you may as well apply for a slot of dormitory in or near your school and eat at the canteen imho. don't need to rent a house/apartment if you live alone

Deliver pizzas. I assume you have a car. This is something you can do at hours that work for you, and get tipped. I've done this before between jobs. Far from an optimum job, but tips can be $20/hr if you are lucky.

Decided to get a student loan, that should help me out as well if i get approved. When i started, I told myslef never to get loans, never want to get in debt I guess it's inevitable.

I don't understand why you cant move back in with parents. They have financial troubles, so do you. Paying them 400 is better than paying someone else 800, and getting an extra 400 from you is better than getting nothing if they have their own financial troubles.
