No. This team needs bigs.
The Magic just waived him.
He'll look good in silver and black.
Why would the Spurs need a backup wing unless...
they either trade SJax for a big...
or they play him as a Battier type 4 then trade Bonner as a salary dump.

He's fat and he can't shoot anymore, tbh..
Why the would we want him?
Is this a serious thread?
He's a poor man's Stephen Jackson. No thanks.
When the Magic waive you, that's saying somethin' . No, thanks.
hasn't he sucked for the past few years? If not longer?
i thought about it as well, but he probably can't defend as well anymore so no.
eh, never really liked him. one of those one trick ponies that did one thing so well he was able to mask it. and now that he's old, well...
This guy has always been a one dimentional player, why the would we want a player that all he could do throughout his career was shoot threes, and even then he chucked too many of them.
SIGN Q-RICH IMMEDIATELY?

At least say Justin Harper. A stretch four who's still young? Who knows.
Unless he grows another 6 inches and turns into a defensive Juggernaut I say sign him but otherwise f*ck No!
lol, we got the appropriate reply from nearly everyone in this thread. Good job to everyone except the OP.
I have no problem bringing in role players that helped the Spurs win a le once before, but only if they did it while wearing a Spurs jersey.
I'm really tired of these "trade Bonner" geniuses. Nobody wants him. The league is well aware of his limitations and his guaranteed salary extending to next season. The only way a Bonner trade could happen is if paired with Stephen Jackson, and I'm not for giving up Stephen Jackson, a guy that will be a key contributer for this team with a knack for hitting big shots. With Manu's shaky injury history (evidenced by him already being out for game 1), its important to keep a guy like Jackson who can fill the bench role
The only other way to dump Bonner would be via amnesty but I doubt Holt is going to pay him 6 million + to walk
Agreed, he would look just fantastic in the Brooklyn Nets silver and black.
Actually Bonner's salary for next season is only $1 mil guaranteed and it wouldn't be a miracle if some team would be OK dumping an unwanted 2 year ( or longer ) contract. Problem is, such a player is unlikely to make a difference to the Spurs anyway.
