    Lets have a look at some trends and sequences in the Spurs' recent championships:

    1999 ----------> 2003 ----------> 2005-------->2006
    (4 year interval) (2 year interval) (projected 1 year interval = repeat? )

    Also:

    1999 - Beat Knicks in 5
    2003 - Beat Nets in 6
    2005 - Beat Detroit in 7
    2006 - Sweep ??? in 4? ( wraparound rule )

    LOL, I said the same thing Saturday. It could be a sweep, or it could be a loss . . . hard to say, really. Depends on which team comes out of the East.

    And if we repeat, then does the interval shorten to half a year? Would the Spurs demand an elimination of the off-season for an immediate chance to defend their le?

    Spurs will be in Finals for next 4 yrs, no doubt about it.

    They will beat Miami next year in 6

    They will beat Detroit in 6 in 07

    They will beat Cleveland in 5 in 08

    They will lose to Cleveland in 7 in 09 because Bowen will no longer be on the team and Lebron will average 36/game.*

    *TPark will quit on the team and become a Cavs fan at that point.
