Just seeing him on the court pisses me off beyond belief.
i'm doing a thousand things with the game on, but every time I look there he is laying turds all over the court
seriously, at this point pop's insistence on playing him doesnt even benefit bonner, much less the team and the fans... what will it take for him to be buried or traded once and for all? diaw and jack can play the floor spacer role way better than bonner EVER will, there's just no reason at all to justify his roster spot

Do you think a grass roots campaign of the Spurs fans in the ATT center booing him every time he steps on the floor would do anything to deter Pop from overusing him? Something must catch his attention and make him stop from putting the Matty B gun in his mouth every chance he gets...
Dejuan Blair wouldn't be ing beasting out there. Instead we have a grab assing Matt Bonner.
Spurs allow NO to shoot 53% from the floor and your worried about Bonner's 10 minutes of playing time. Yeah, he sucks, big deal!

Better send him a nasty bottle of wine, but print out a new label for it, call it the red racket with a pic of bonner trying to box out, and on the back you can put a text saying that its made by a fan org dedicated to a 5th championship- every bottle sold goes to buying out his contract. There is precedent for irrational Pop obsession with a worthless basketball player: Michael Finley. I think it will take Bonner similarly, bizarrely and ungratefully complaining about his minutes.
LOL YEP, but he spreads the floor!!!!!!!!!!! He hustles too.YES, but Finley showed up huge in the Sac series and Dallas series that year with big buckets, then the next year against Denver hit what 8 threes? Bonner could only dream of doing that in the playoffs, he is just useless.
The only thing Matty spreads is his arse cheeks right before Anderson and Smith start pounding away.
Finley actually contributed in '07.
At the very least he used to make a bunch of 3s. Now he doesn't even do that anymore.
Bonner was terrible at the start of last season as well. Give him some time to warm up so he can get hot December-February.
Well, maybe some of you haven't noticed it but Bonner is on thin ice with Pop. It's maybe a couple of years too late but it's nevertheless welcomed.
Signs of this lost of trust from pop to Bonner are:
- Bonner got benched in the playoffs against OKC and Pop gave Blair a try.
- Bonner barely played in the preseason.
- Bonner didn't played in the second half yesterday.
While it's possible that Bonner get back in Pop's good graces, I would say it won't happen. history told us that once Pop goes away from a player, it's definitive.
But, I always thought Bonner was our secret to another Regular Season Championship!
