Its not a reach at all tbh. Efficient or not theres absolutely no reason why Kobe needs to be chucking close to 25 shots and having 40 point games, its clearly detrimental to the team. Its one thing for Harden to do this since he has little support in Houston and another thing for Kobe to continue to feel the need to chuck and have big scoring nights with the quality of teammates hes had over the years. Even before Wade and James joined forces and they were stuck with subpar talent around them, Kobe had more 20+ shot games than both of them combined IIRC. Greatest chucker of all-time tbh.

Kobe is a chucker no doubt but he was scoring and efficiently at that. Doesn't matter who else is on the team, you ride the hot hand. Kobe's 6 turnovers are more the blame tbh.
