Not at all. It's a fair question. Most of those guys will end up with some amount of value either as expiring contracts or as trade chips. I'm not any more confident that the Spurs could attract a free agent with all that money freed up than I would be that they could convince Howard to stay in town. Call it bird-in-the-hand paranoia I guess.
