Who gives a sh*t how he acts after a dunk, and to say the man who is widely known as the BEST PF ever will be forgotten... Well I need to say no more, someone delete this stupid ass thread.
Guy facials the number 1 shot blocker, and s his arm back immediately behind his back so as to not floor and hurt Ibaka. Then doesnt try to carry on with it and runs back on D.
Hes too modest... only true fans can appreciate his skill and class.
Brb. Shaq after dunking on a Dudley...

So I'm guessing this is the stupid thread for the day?
thread le face palm
Both the premise and the conclusion of the opening post are bull .
Duncan will be forgotten? (facepalm)
Not showboating after a dunk leads to being forgotten? That makes no sense. It means players will respect him more and therefore have an additional reason to remember him. Ever heard of the salience effect? If the majority of NBA players are heads, the ones who aren't heads actually stand out more relative to the norm.
that's actually one of the reasons he will be remembered.
Methinks the sarcasm detector is not working in this thread.
Duncan will never be forgotten if only because he'll be remembered as a contrast to the selfish superstars that seem to be coming out of school every year.
But he may not be remembered as a successful dunker because of how low-key his dunks are. You're right that he won't make many all-time dunks lists, even though he's had his share of posterizing slams.
WERD...just ask Ibaka...![]()
I think it was a natural reaction to avoid getting his shoulder dislocated, rather than some altruistic motive.
God, I love that Shaq dunk. Easily, my favorite of all time.
This is exactly why he should be remembered shaq is a piece of .
rofl You're a stupid got and nobody takes anything you post at all seriously.
And you should prolly kill yourself.
Duncan will be forgotten because he wont go broke 3 years after retiring
Tbh, I think OP is confusing street cred for actual NBA cred. Duncan winning more than 70% of the games he's played in his career, being all over the record books, having 4 rings, and his team always being legit every single season of his career are why he's being remembered. Gloating after dunks is pretty much the lamest part of basketball. Especially since NBA added the circle which makes it nearly impossible to contest a dunk anymore without being called for a foul.
