    FWIW

My neighbors (Doctor and his wife) were walking to the poll this morning. They NEVER vote; as far as I know, completely a-political. They are Catholic; voting for Romney.

    What does this mean?

Romney, in my opinion, won't lose Pa by as large a margin as McCain did.

I read that Obama ended his campaign in a half empty stadium -- and that was with Springsteen and Jay-Z.

Polls don't appear to comport with reality.

To a certain extent I can agree with you; but pollsters (most of them) make their money polling for organizations that are NOT running for president; this is simply the biggest stage they have to "get it right". If they miss, it costs $$$$; bias or not, the final polls are their best estimation, IMO. Newspaper, or media polls, however, I could imagine having a bias.

That said, living up here, and getting "polled" so much, I do with them sometimes; not sure how many other people might....

Last month I was a Democrat voting "Romney"

Two days ago I indicated I was a Republican voting "Green".

Last week, an Independent voting "Other" (the honest answer)

    That's "reality"?
Reality is early Obama voting down from 2008, early Romney voting up (from McCain levels), and independens strongly leaning Romney.

I expect PA to be closer than 2008... still blue. GOP would've had better chances if their voter ID law wouldn't have been suspended, IMO.

Is that information gleaned from polls?

Ohio isn't the place that will matter. Wisconsin and Minnesota. Romney polled +1 by very reliable poster, Glen Bolger, who called many elections exactly as they finished, of note was the Reid - Angler Nevada Senate Race. He show Romney up 1 in MN. Think about that. That's why Obama send Bill Clinton there to try to save it. Ryan is from Wisconsin, they have gone through conservative upswing. Romney will probably carry Wisconsin as well. Both narrowly, but he will carry them. And it will be over. Ohio will be irrelevent.

If a GOP strategist/pollster like Bolger sees it that way I guess Obama must be in trouble there.
